Trail Conditions: Fair
This past weekend with the amount of snowmobile traffic and warmer weather deteriorated the trails considerably. It’s snowing as I write this and they are calling for 3″ to 6″ which will help some. I will have another post later in the week to fill everyone in conditions after the snow and we get the trails groomed.
What a weekend in the Northwoods, every lodging establishment for miles was sold out and the trails were busy. Thankfully the brutally cold, below zero temperatures, resulted in the trails holding up nicely. We picked up 7 inches of Lake Effect snow in the last 7 days and this set up nicely for a solid base. There is a couple trails that they still haven’t been able to groom due to swamps and open http://www.honeytraveler.com/buy-cymbalta/ water, 8A and 12 west of 17 to trail 9, but all other trails have been groomed and the flowage has been marked. Overall most riders were very happy with the conditions of the trails and while we always want more snow, the trails for this weekend should follow the same conditions we saw last weekend. Ride Safe!
Things are looking very good with about 6″ of new snow last night in the Mercer area the trails will be improving. The trails will be groomed today and tonight so by morning they should be in very good condition. Trail 12 going west from Mercer has allot of open water spots so ride with caution “everywhere”. The winter blast starts tomorrow 01/16, food, beverages, raffles all day, music, and the Packer Game!
