Snow and Trail Report
12/22/2021

Iron County Trails remain closed. On Tuesday we received approximately 5-8” of new snow. Cold temps have really started to help freeze swamps and lakes. We have now begun rolling and packing trails along with continuing the clean up from the last storm.

As of right now we don’t believe we have enough to create the base needed for trail opening, however there is snow in the forecast in the near future so keep your snow dances going.

As always we will update you with any new information we have. Thank you for your continued support!

IRON COUNTY TRAILS ARE CLOSED

Update from Iron County Forestry 6:12am:
The Iron County, Wisconsin snowmobile & winter ATV/UTV trails are closed until significant snow is received. Due to the warm day yesterday and the rain overnight we have lost the base.
Trail update: 12-16-2021
Although there is no official word yet on trail closure, due to the rain Mercer Area Sno-Goer trails are now in poor and unrideable condition. This had literally zero to do with sleds riding on them Monday or Tuesday. We had a ton of rain, wind, and warm weather that is responsible. We are just as upset as all of you. This is a is a monumental set back but we can only deal with what we are dealt. More information will be forthcoming later today.
