The Iron County ATV/UTV Trail system will be opening Thursday, May 16 @ 7am. Spring riding conditions exist on many trails and riders may encounter soft spots along the trail system. Please use caution when riding, especially on Trail 6 in the areas west of WhiteCap Mountain. Remember to ride safe, ride right, and use caution when out on the trails.

Conditions: Closed
All Iron County, WI snowmobile trails are closed. ATV/UTV Trails will open on a trail by trail basis after spring thawing conditions recede. Full opening expected to be Mid-May.
Over two feet of snow fast fallen in the last week in the Mercer area. Extended forecast shows the next 10 days to be prime riding in Iron County. Based on the conditions we are seeing right now we expect to go all the way through the end of March. Now is the time to plan one last trip up North for some premium trail riding. Please don’t forget about our Snowmobile raffle coming up, be sure to buy your tickets when you are in town.
