Iron County Trails are now open! All of our trails are groomed, passable, and considered early season. You will find rocks, bare spots, and ice. Ride with caution and be safe. Please enjoy, trails are finally open!

Iron County Trails will open to snowmobiles on Thursday, January 16th at 7am. Trails will be early season riding conditions. The Turtle Flambeau Flowage has been marked 100%. We received 3-5 inches of snow yesterday and today. The snow was light and although it brightened up our trails it didn’t do much to add to our base. We still need heavy snow to build up our base to sustain the traffic we see on our trails up here. We are continuing packing swamps…

All of our trails have been rolled and groomed. After today we will reinspect trails after the warm spell and update conditions. Forecast looks to be cold and snowy so keep doing those snow dances going! Reminder that our trails still remain closed at this time.

Please join us Saturday October 19, 2024 for our club work day! Meeting at the groomer barn at 9am for zone assignment. Food and drinks will be provided after the work day. Please bring any tree/brush trimming power equipment and trail approved mode of transportation.

Our last general membership meeting of the season will take place on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30pm at the Great Northern Hotel Banquet room. Elections will also take place at this meeting.

Trails are still closed. We have been in the process of packing swamps and trails. We have 4-5 inches of snow but need a lot more. Please continue your snow dancing as we desperately need it! If you have trips planned please think about still coming up to support our incredible business sponsors.
